I have pcos and we are trying since almost a year now, no luck yet. Doc appointment is next week but in the meantime i wanted to hear from others who conceived with pcos. What helped u?
Suno, do not ask for medicine names on the internet. PCOS is different for everyone, so what worked for me might not work for you. Go to a good gynecologist, they will do scans and give the right tablet to help you ovulate.
My MIL suggested some Ayurvedic choornam, but I decided to consult a proper doctor who gave me specific tablets for PCOS. If you have PCOS, medical guidance is best along with a healthy diet. Trust your doctor more than home tips for this.
I have PCOS too and got pregnant after taking medicine prescribed by my doctor. But please don't self-medicate, only your gynac can tell what dose you need. Did anyone else here also conceive with help of ovulation induction medicines? I still worry sometimes.
Doctors usually prescribe medicines like metformin or letrozole depending on your blood reports, but please consult your gynac first. Along with whatever medicine the doc gives, try walking for 30 mins daily. It really helps manage insulin levels and improves egg quality.
Hi... I also have PCOS and I am trying to conceive. I was very scared, but my doctor told me there are simple medicines to help with ovulation. Please visit a gynecologist, they will guide you gently and help us both.
