What is the most common complication of pregnancy?
Im in my first pregnancy and tend to read too much online which scares me. Just wanted to know what problems are actually the most common so i can be a bit aware and watch out, not to panic. anyone.
Honestly anaemia is super common among us, low iron. Then gestational diabetes and BP issues. None of it is scary if you go for your regular tests and eat right. Thats literally why the doc orders all those blood tests.
Common ones include anaemia, gestational diabetes and high blood pressure. But honestly it varies person to person, and your gynac watches for all of these at every visit. The best protection is just not missing appointments.
Things like anaemia, gestational diabetes and high BP are among the more common ones here. I had high BP and regular monitoring caught it early, which made all the difference. Please dont skip your check ups, thats how they catch these in time.
Along with anaemia and sugar, thyroid issues also pop up a lot. Mine was found in a routine test and I just took meds and did regular follow ups. The key is those check ups, they catch most things early.
Gestational diabetes is quite common and I got it, didnt even feel any symptom. The routine sugar test caught it. So please dont skip that test, managing food and follow up kept everything fine for me.
