What is the normal cervix length during pregnancy?
Had my scan recently and they mentioned my cervix length but i didnt fully understand what number is considered okay. Im around 20 weeks. What is the normal range supposed to be?
Mine was on the shorter side so they kept a close watch and I was on bed rest for a while. Please dont compare numbers from the internet, your doctor reads it in your full context. Regular scans are key.
My doctor explained a healthy cervix is usually around 3 to 4 cm long in mid pregnancy, and they check it on scan. If it shortens too early it can be a concern for preterm labour. She monitored mine because of my history.
