What is the normal weight gain during pregnancy in kg?
Im in my second trimester and my saas keeps saying im not eating enough but my gynac said weight is fine. Got little confused matlab how many kg is actually normal for whole pregnancy? Curious what range u all gained.
Normally doctors say 10 to 12 kg is fine. But ghar pe, my MIL kept feeding me ghee and laddoos saying "tumhe do logon ke liye khana hai". I ended up gaining 15 kg, but luckily lost most of it postpartum!
Beta, gaining around 10 to 15 kg is quite normal and healthy for the baby's growth. Focus on eating traditional homemade food like ragi porridge, dry fruits, and seasonal fruits rather than junk. Don't worry about the weight, your body knows what it is doing.
Haha, don't even ask! I felt like I gained weight just by looking at a samosa. Generally, 10 to 15 kg is considered normal, but honestly, as long as baby is healthy, don't stress over the scale too much!
Because of my PCOS, I was so worried about gaining too much weight. My doctor told me that 10-12 kg is a healthy average, but it depends on your pre-pregnancy weight. Don't compare with others, just focus on eating nutritious food.
I used a pregnancy tracker app and for my normal BMI, it showed a target range of 11 to 16 kg. In the first trimester, weight gain is very less, but it picks up in the second and third. You can track yours online, it's very helpful!
