What is the pregnancy duration?

Got my positive test couple weeks back and im trying to count when the baby will come. Heard 9 months but then doc talks in weeks. So whats the actual full duration?

Yes around 40 weeks, just under 9 and a half months from last period actually.

Full pregnancy is about 9 months, technically 40 weeks. Doctors count from ur last period start. Both my deliveries were near 39 weeks, every baby comes on its own time.

We always say nine months but doctors count it as 40 weeks haan. My elders counted differently using moon months, but go by what ur doctor says for the due date.

Roughly 40 weeks or 9 months. Anything from 37 to 42 weeks is considered normal term. Ur gynac will calculate the proper due date based on ur dates and early scan.
