The best chance is around ovulation, which for many is roughly the middle of the cycle, but it shifts based on cycle length. My doctor suggested tracking my cycle for a few months to pinpoint my fertile days. The fertile window is a few days, not a single one.

With pcos my ovulation timing was irregular so the usual mid cycle rule didnt apply to me. If your periods arent regular, dont rely only on counting days. A doctor can help you figure out your fertile time better.
