Noticed this dark vertical line appearing down my belly and im 20 weeks now. It wasnt there before so it caught me off guard. Whats this line about and does everyone get it?
Oh that dark line! Its called linea nigra. I felt so surprised when it appeared down my belly, nobody had told me. Its from the hormones and it faded away on its own months after I delivered.
Thats the linea nigra, the dark vertical line on the belly. Totally normal, its just pigment from pregnancy hormones. Both times mine showed up and both times it faded after delivery. Nothing to do about it.
Haha my belly had its own racing stripe! Its the linea nigra yaar, totally harmless. Faded away after delivery on its own. Some old folks even guess baby gender from it, just for fun.
My mother in law called it the sign of the baby growing nicely, hehe. Its the linea nigra, very normal due to hormones. It lightened slowly after my baby was born, dont worry about it at all.
