What is the symptoms of high blood pressure in pregnancy?

Im in my 7th month and my mom had bp issues during her pregnancies so im a little worried it could be hereditary. Want to know what signs to watch out for so i can tell my gynac early. What did u all notice when your bp went up?

Common ones are headaches that dont go, swelling, blurred vision, sometimes nausea late in pregnancy. Dont wait it out, any of these means call ur doctor and get BP checked the same day.

My gynac told me to watch for severe headache, sudden swelling especially face and hands, vision changes like spots, and pain in upper tummy. She said sometimes there are no symptoms too, which is why every checkup BP is measured.

Please take this seriously yaar. Mine showed up as bad headaches, swelling in feet and hands, and blurry vision. The moment u feel these, get ur BP checked, high BP in pregnancy can be serious and needs the doctor right away.

Honestly keep a small BP monitor at home if u can, I did. Symptoms like headache and swelling u can miss, but the readings dont lie. Anything high, straight to doctor, dont wait for next appointment.
