My gynac has started me on duphaston this week and i forgot to ask her properly what its for exactly. I dont want to google random scary things. can someone who took it explain why its usually given? not asking for any dose.
In my IVF journey I was given progesterone support and duphaston was part of it, it helps support the early pregnancy. But every case is different so please only take it as your doctor prescribed. Sending you lots of hope.
I was put on it after some early spotting and it helped me, but only under close monitoring. Please dont take it just because someone else did. Your gynac knows whether you actually need it.
My doc said it is a form of progesterone that helps support the pregnancy in early stages, often given when there is a history or risk. She was very clear that dose and duration are decided by her only. Never start or stop it on your own.
