My gynac told me i have to take the TT injection in my next visit but didnt really explain why. Im 5 months now and i get nervous with injections, so just want to understand what its actually for. anyone took it already?
My doctor explained the TT injection protects both mother and baby from tetanus, especially around delivery. It is a standard part of antenatal care given in doses. She said its important so I just took it as scheduled.
I was nervous before my TT shot honestly. It was just a quick prick and my arm was a little sore after. Did others feel the soreness too or was it just me?
Its a routine pregnancy vaccine, nothing to fear. I got it in both my pregnancies without any issue. Just take it on the dates ur gynac gives, its for ur and baby's safety.
