My doc mentioned UTI in my last visit and asked me to do a urine test but i didnt fully understand what it means in pregnancy. I keep hearing about it from other moms. Can someone explain in simple words na, what it is and why it happens more now?

It is a urinary tract infection, and my doctor explained pregnant women are more prone to it due to hormonal changes. She said drink plenty of water and never hold urine. If untreated it can affect the pregnancy, so get a urine test done if you suspect it.
