I keep hearing people talk about water around the baby and water leaking etc but i dont really get what it means. Can someone explain in simple words pls? im a first timer.
I'm not a doctor, but from my own pregnancy, I know 'water' refers to the amniotic fluid around the baby. My gynac monitored my fluid levels through regular ultrasounds to make sure it stayed in the safe range.
Hamare ghar mein saas and mummy hamesha bolti thi ki khoob pani pio taaki baby ke aas-paas ka paani (amniotic fluid) kam na ho. It basically protects the baby in the womb. But if you feel any leaking, tell your elders or doctor right away.
This usually refers to the amniotic fluid that cushions your baby throughout pregnancy, or 'water breaking' which starts labor. Keeping yourself well-hydrated helps maintain this fluid level, but if you suspect leaking, always consult your doctor immediately.
Oh, in my 3rd trimester, 'water' basically means amniotic fluid, and right now I feel like a walking, heavy water balloon! It's the fluid keeping our babies safe, but honestly, I'm just praying my water doesn't break in the middle of a grocery store aisle!
Please be very careful about this. I had a complication where my amniotic fluid level dropped suddenly, and I had to be hospitalized. If you feel any constant leaking or wetness, please go to your gynac immediately because it can be risky.
