Saw this term while googling my result and got more confused. My line came lighter than the control one. Does weak positive still mean pregnant? Pls explain in simple words.
A weak positive is that faint second line, basically your hormone is there but still low, usually because you tested early. My app said retest in 48 hours and the line darkened. So it's a real positive, just early.
It generally means early pregnancy with low hCG. The cleanest way to confirm is a blood beta hCG test, which is what my doctor advised me to do. That removed all my doubt at once.
