What kind of books should be read during pregnancy?
Im 12 weeks and have a lot of free time at home these days. I keep hearing reading good things affects the baby in a positive way. Would love some suggestions on what you all read.
Anything that keeps you peaceful. Some moms love the what to expect type books, some prefer storybooks and poetry. Avoid the scary google horror stories, those just add tension.
I picked up a week by week pregnancy book and honestly it calmed my anxiety coz I knew what was normal. Did anyone else feel less scared after reading proper info instead of random forums?
I read a couple of pregnancy guide books, the week by week ones are really helpful to know whats happening with baby. My doc suggested one too. Mix it with some light fiction so its not all clinical.
I kept some calm spiritual books and a bit of Gita reading near me, it gave me peace during those months. Whatever keeps your mind happy and positive is good for baby too I feel.
My mother gave me some lovely positive reading and a few baby care books. I enjoyed them with my evening filter coffee. Keep things gentle and happy, that matters more than the topic.
