Im about 5 months and my normal bras feel so tight now, getting uncomfortable the whole day. Should i shift to those maternity ones already or wait? what did u all use?
When I asked the maternity lactation counselor at my hospital, she recommended switching to non-wired cotton support bras. They even showed me how to measure correctly because your size changes so fast.
My mother told me to strictly avoid tight underwired bras as they can block milk ducts later. I switched to soft, wireless cotton ones that my MIL got for me, and they were so comfortable ghar pe.
I totally understand how uncomfortable it gets when your body is changing so beautifully. Please choose something soft and breathable, like cotton sports bras, to keep yourself cozy. Sending you lots of love!
Yaar, underwires are a big no during these months. Actually, just get some cotton nursing bras already because you can use them even post-delivery. They are a lifesaver, honestly.
When my nausea was at its worst, even a tight band around my chest made me throw up. I highly suggest very loose, seamless maternity bras that don't press against your ribs. It makes a huge difference.
