Got my beta hcg report and the number is there but i dont really understand what it means. My next gynac appointment is only after few days and im impatient. What level actually confirms it?
In our IVF the clinic watched the rising numbers very closely, not just the first value. They want to see it climbing well. Try not to fixate on a single figure, the doctor reads it as a whole.
My doctor said above 25 mIU is usually considered positive, but they look at the trend more than one number. She made me repeat after 48 hours to see if it was doubling. So one reading alone isnt the full picture.
Generally anything clearly above the cutoff means pregnant, but doubling over two days is what matters more. Let your doctor interpret it. The numbers can scare you unnecessarily otherwise.
