just found out im pregnant n im honestly scared of doing something wrong. its so early and i keep second guessing everything i eat or lift. what all should i avoid in the beginning?
Avoid smoking, alcohol and any random medicines without asking doctor. Dont lift heavy stuff or overexert. And start your folic acid, that is really important in early weeks. Simple things, dont overthink the rest.
Mainly avoid heavy lifting and intense workouts in the first month. Light walking is usually fine but check with your doctor before continuing any exercise. And ofcourse no smoking, alcohol or random meds.
Beta in the early days take it easy, avoid too much travel on bumpy roads and heavy lifting. Eat home cooked fresh food. For nausea you can try a little ginger or jeera water, but for any medicine please ask your doctor only.
My gynac listed it clearly, no smoking, no alcohol, no self medication, avoid raw or unhygienic food, and dont skip folic acid. She also said dont stress unnecessarily and keep your first appointment. If you have any spotting or pain, call her instead of waiting.
Dont panic first of all ma. Avoid alcohol, smoking and self medicine, eat clean fresh food and rest well. My family gave many dos and donts but for serious things I always checked with my doctor. Keep it simple and calm.
