Grahan is coming up and my saas already started giving me a long list of rules na. Im 5 months and thoda confused what to actually follow and what is just purani baat. Pls share what u all did.
Medically, there's no proof that eclipses harm the baby, so don't panic. If your family insists on rules, you can follow the simple ones to keep them happy, but listen to your body first. Always verify with your doctor before doing any strict fasting.
Hey, please don't stress too much about grahan rules! My MIL told me so many things like not holding knives or staying in a dark room. Honestly just stay comfortable, drink water, and chill, baby will be perfectly fine.
Oh god, I was literally sweating during the eclipse thinking what if I accidentally touched a knife! I locked myself in the room and didn't even go to the washroom. But my gynac said it's all okay, just try to stay calm so your BP doesn't shoot up.
Don't compromise on your health or medicine timings because of the eclipse. When I had thyroid issues, I made sure to take my pills on time even during grahan hours. Just keep up with your regular doctor checkups and don't skip your routine.
During grahan, instead of worrying about rules, just sit peacefully and do some light chanting or meditation. Staying positive and reading a good book is the best thing u can do for the baby right now. Take care of yourself.
See, everyone has different beliefs but if you feel dizzy or dehydrated from fasting during grahan, call your gynac immediately. I had high risk issues, so my doc strictly told me not to skip meals or water for these beliefs. Health of the baby comes first.
Haha, my dadi told me not to stitch clothes or even look outside or the baby would have a mark! I literally slept through the whole thing, easiest way to avoid all the drama. Just use it as an excuse to get extra sleep, yaara!
