What not to do in your first trimester of pregnancy?
I'm in my first trimester and want to ensure I'm doing everything right. What are some key things or activities that I should absolutely avoid during the first trimester of pregnancy to keep my baby safe?
Make sure to avoid self-medicating and eating raw or undercooked meats/eggs due to risk of infections. Speak directly with your gynac to clear up any myths and get a safe guideline.

Don't spend a bomb on fancy maternity clothes or expensive supplements right away. Stick to the basic tests your doctor recommends, and avoid buying unnecessary things until the second trimester.
Please avoid any heavy lifting, long journeys on bumpy roads, and self-medication. Take maximum rest, avoid stress, and call your doctor immediately if you feel even slight cramping.
It is completely normal to feel terrified of doing something wrong during these weeks, I was a nervous wreck! Just avoid raw papaya, pineapple, and heavy cleaning chores. Rest as much as your body asks for.
