My MIL keeps giving me a big bowl of mixed nuts every morning haha. I eat almonds and walnuts but not sure if some nuts r not good in pregnancy. Anyone know which ones to skip?
This journey requires so much care, and food choices are definitely a big part of it. When in doubt, it's always safest to consult with your doctor or a nutritionist. They can guide you best on what's suitable for your specific needs, especially with nuts. Wishing you all the best.
My doctor actually recommended a handful of nuts daily for good fats and nutrients. I mainly had almonds and walnuts. Just avoid anything mouldy or very old. And check if you're allergic to any specific nut, of course. Freshness matters a lot.
Most nuts are actually super healthy for you and baby! 🥜 Just make sure they're fresh and not rancid. And if you have any history of allergies, definitely double check with your doctor. Enjoy your healthy snacks! 😊
I ate almonds, walnuts, and cashews during my pregnancy, and they were fine for me. I never heard of specific nuts to avoid unless you have an allergy. But again, this is just my personal experience; always best to check with your doc.
I totally freaked out about everything I ate during pregnancy, including nuts! But actually, my gynac said most nuts are safe and good, unless you have specific allergies. Don't worry too much about it, just eat them in moderation and you'll be fine.
Generally, nuts are good for you in moderation. The main thing to avoid are nuts if you have an allergy, or if they're salted/fried too much. Plain, roasted ones are fine. Just be sensible with your choices.
