My breast pain is mostly on sides and near nipples, not the same as my usual PMS heaviness. Period is due soon so I am confused. Where did you feel soreness in early pregnancy?
Mine hurt mostly on the outer sides, near the armpit area almost. Anyone else got it there? I got a little scared but my doc said the tissue extends there so it's normal in pregnancy.
Both times it was the whole breast feeling heavy and the nipples extra sore. Get a soft cotton bra without wire, that helped me a lot. The pain settles down after few weeks, dont worry.
Mine was tender near the nipples and a heavy feeling underneath. My mother said it just means hormones are doing their work. A comfortable bra helps. But if you ever feel a hard lump in one spot only, do mention to your doctor just to be safe.

Usually it's all over fullness but the nipples and the outer sides feel the most tender. This is the body preparing the milk glands already, so it's very normal early on. It got better for me after first trimester.
