Im in my third trimester now and sleeping has become such a struggle, plus me and my husband are unsure about being intimate too. Just want to know which positions are safe and comfortable at this stage. bump is getting big na so confused.
Towards the end I could only sleep propped up on my side with pillows everywhere, it really helped my back and breathing. Left side was my go to. Find whatever supports your bump, comfort matters a lot in those last weeks.
I keep waking up on my back and panicking honestly. Everyone says left side is best na? I bought a pregnancy pillow which kind of forces me to stay on the side. Did that work for any of you?
For sleep, side lying mostly left is the safe one. If you mean intimacy, generally its fine in a normal pregnancy with comfortable positions, but if you have any complications or bleeding, please ask your gynac whats okay for your case specifically.
If you mean sleeping, lying on your left side is the most comfortable and recommended, especially in later months. Keep a pillow between your knees, it helps a lot. Avoid lying flat on your back for long once the bump grows.
Don't overthink it, your body will guide you to what feels right. Just lean towards the left side for sleeping and use pillows for support. If anythings worrying you, your doctor will clear it up easily.
