What precautions should be taken during pregnancy?
This is my first pregnancy and im just 6 weeks, everyone at home is telling me different different things and im overwhelmed. I want a real list from women who have been through it, what to actually be careful about in these early months.
Im constantly googling this too because i worry i will miss something. So far my doc said dont stress, eat well, no raw or undercooked food, and just come for every appointment. Anyone have more they wish they knew early on?
Apart from food and rest, my family told me to keep stress away and stay around positive people, and honestly that mattered a lot. Trust your doctor for medical stuff, and dont take everyones random advice to heart.
Practical tip, plan your tests and scan dates in advance and pick a hospital you can afford and reach easily. Keep your reports in one file. Eat simple healthy ghar ka khana, no need for costly health foods.
Dont overwhelm yourself trying to do everything perfect. Eat, sleep, walk, take meds, go for checkups and rest when tired. Your body knows a lot already. Be gentle with yourself through it.
Main ones, take your folic acid and iron, eat clean home food, dont skip your checkups and scans, avoid heavy lifting and self medication. Stay hydrated and walk a bit daily if doc allows. Thats the core, rest your gynac will guide as you go.
One precaution i really stress on, never ignore warning signs, bleeding, severe pain, high fever, less baby movement, swelling with headache. Call your gynac immediately for these. For the rest, regular checkups catch most issues early.
