What precautions should take in first month of pregnancy?
Just got my positive test two days back, still cant believe it! Its my first pregnancy so i have no idea what to do or avoid in these early days. Would love to know what u all were careful about in the beginning.
Because I had issues early on I'll say this, if u see any bleeding or strong cramps in the first month dont wait, call ur doctor right away. Otherwise just rest, eat well and take ur folic acid. Early checkup is really important.
My doctor told me the basics, folic acid daily, no smoking or alcohol obviously, limit caffeine, avoid raw or undercooked food and stay hydrated. She also said avoid self medicating, even a normal tablet ask first. The first scan was around 6-7 weeks for me.
Dont stress too much yaar, first month mostly just be gentle with urself. Rest, eat healthy, no random medicines and start folic acid. The rest the doctor will guide step by step.
Amma told me to rest and eat warm fresh food, which I did. But the real precautions come from ur doctor, mine listed everything for me. Start the vitamins, avoid stress and get that first scan done calmly.
Haan first month thoda careful raho. No heavy work, proper rest na. Folic acid start kar do doctor se poochke. And koi bhi medicine apne aap mat lo, gynac se confirm karo always.
First month start your folic acid for sure, doctor will prescribe. Avoid heavy lifting, papaya and too much travel on bad roads. Eat small frequent meals so nausea is less. And book ur first gynac appointment, dont delay that.
I felt so nervous in my first month, every little thing scared me. What helped me was just resting more, eating simple home food and starting folic acid as doc said. Take it slow, your body is doing a big thing.
