Just found out im pregnant, around 5 weeks. its my first time and i have no clue what all i should be careful about in these initial weeks. pls share whatever helped you, food, travel, anything.
Take your folic acid daily, eat home cooked food, avoid heavy lifting and get enough rest. Dont take any random medicine without asking the doctor. And go for your first scan and checkup on time, that settles a lot of worries.
I focused on simple home food, lots of water and light walks. For nausea ginger and lemon water helped me. But anything serious like bleeding or strong cramps, go straight to the gynac, dont wait.
Early on I planned my tests and picked a doctor whose visit and scan charges fit our budget. Folic acid is cheap and important so dont skip it. Booking checkups early also avoids last minute costly rush.
In my early weeks I felt so unsure about everything. What helped me was eating small frequent meals and resting whenever I felt tired. I also stopped lifting heavy things and just took it slow.
