Just got my pregnancy confirmed last week and feeling a bit lost about the whole journey ahead. My gynac mentioned a few scans but i didnt note them properly. Can someone tell me which all scans happen and roughly at what stage? Trying to plan my budget also.
My gynac listed it out for me, dating scan early, NT scan around 11-13 weeks, the anomaly scan near 18-20 weeks and growth scans in third trimester. The anomaly one is the big detailed one. She said timing matters so dont be late for these.
I kept some budget aside for these as each scan costs a bit, the anomaly one was the priciest in my city. Worth every rupee though, dont skip the important ones. Ask the hospital for a rough total so u can plan.
The common ones are dating, NT, anomaly and growth scans, that's the usual set for most pregnancies. Sometimes a doppler is added later. Your doctor adjusts based on ur health, just follow her dates and u are good.
