We are planning second baby and family keeps saying try for girl this time. I know it may sound silly, but I keep hearing different tips from relatives. Did anyone else get such advice while trying?
Honestly there's no position that decides the baby's gender, that part is determined at the moment of conception and you can't control it. People share theories but they're just old talk. Focus on a healthy conception, the rest isn't in our hands.
Elders in my family had so many of these beliefs. But my doctor gently told me none of it actually works, baby's gender isn't something we can pick. I made peace with that and just prayed for a healthy baby.

There isn't any scientific way through positions to choose gender, despite all the forwards we get. Plus gender determination tests are illegal here for a reason. Just aim for a healthy pregnancy and let your doctor guide you on the rest.
