What should be the glucose level during pregnancy?
I got my sugar report and the numbers are making me nervous. I dont know what range is okay in pregnancy and what is high. I will ask my gynac, but anyone can share how they read it?
Ugh, glucose levels! I just had my GTT done, felt like I was chugging pure sugar. My doc told me the numbers, and thankfully they were fine, but honestly, I just want to eat all the jalebis after that fast! 😂 Seriously though, pls check with your gynac, they'll give you the exact range they want you to be in. This third trimester tiredness is real, yaar, so take care!
Oh sweetheart, I totally understand your concern about glucose levels. It's so natural to worry about every little thing when you're pregnant, especially with so much information out there. Just remember to breathe, and focus on what your doctor tells you is right for *you*. You're doing great, mama, dont stress too much!
Hello dear, this glucose level question is very important. My mother-in-law always says to eat right and not too many sweets, but truly, your gynac will give the exact numbers for your specific pregnancy. Each woman and baby are different, so it's always best to follow what your doctor advises for your specific case. Be calm and talk to them.
Hey! For glucose levels, they usually look at fasting, 1-hour post-meal, and 2-hour post-meal numbers in the GTT test during pregnancy. The normal ranges can vary slightly between labs, so honestly, the best person to ask for your specific targets is your gynaecologist. They'll tell you what's healthy for your individual journey and if any changes are needed.
Beta, glucose levels are important, haan, you're right to ask. Ghar pe try to eat whole grains, like ragi and jowar, and cut down on white rice and too much processed sugar. My dadi always said 'less sugar, more sabzi'. But for exact numbers and what is safe, you must always consult your lady doctor. She knows best what is good for you and your baby, always trust her.
