Just entered my second month and the nausea is making it hard to eat much. I want to make sure baby is getting whatever it needs in this phase. What did u all manage to eat that was light but good?

I am just past this stage and I worried so much about eating enough. Did anyone else feel guilty for not eating much in 2nd month? My doc said it's fine as long as I keep my supplements going.
My mother made me have idli, dal, ragi and lots of fruits during this time, simple and light. She also gave me dry fruits in small amount. But I always checked the big things with my gynac to be safe.
My doctor said second month is all about folic acid, so green leafy veggies, dals, and fruits are great. She also told me to keep eating small frequent meals because nausea was bad. And keep taking your prescribed folic acid tablet daily.
Honestly in second month I could barely eat anything, vomiting was terrible. I survived on khichdi, curd rice, bananas and lemon water. Eat whatever stays down, don't force fancy food, it gets better na.
Keep it balanced, don't overthink. Protein, fruits, veggies, milk and your folic acid daily. Avoid raw papaya and too much outside food, that's basically it.
You don't need expensive stuff actually. Seasonal fruits, dal, egg, milk, peanuts and green veg cover most of it cheaply. Spend on your folic acid and iron as the doc prescribes, that is what matters.
