Just got my report positive last week and im totally clueless about my diet. My MIL says one thing, internet says another and im confused yaar. Can you all share what u actually ate that kept u and baby healthy?
Keep it simple and balanced, dal, sabzi, roti, rice, eggs, milk, fruits and lots of water. Add iron and calcium rich stuff like palak, dates, paneer. Take your prescribed supplements regularly too, dont skip them.
You dont need expensive imported foods yaar, simple desi diet does the job. Dal, eggs, seasonal fruits, peanuts, dates are cheap and full of nutrition. Save your money, just eat regular healthy ghar ka khana.
My amma made sure I had a little of everything, rice, sambar, curd, fruits and a glass of milk daily. Nothing fancy, just home cooked and warm. Doctor said home food is the best so I just trusted that.
