What should i eat during pregnancy first trimester?
I've just found out I'm pregnant and it's my first trimester. I want to start eating really healthy for the baby. What kind of foods should I focus on during the first three months?
Pehle teen mahine mein dahi-chawal, halki dal, aur taaza phal khao, jo aasani se pach jaye. Zyada masala ya tel wala khana mat khana kyunki acidity badh jati hai. Thoda thoda karke khao par khali pet mat raho.
I know the first trimester can make you so anxious about every bite you take, trust me, I felt the exact same way. Just stick to small, frequent meals of dry toast, simple curd rice, or bananas to keep the nausea away. Don't stress too much about a perfect diet right now, just eat what you can comfortably.
In my first trimester, especially after my previous loss, I was extremely anxious about what was safe. I focused on eating well-cooked, simple home-cooked foods like dal, rice, and apples. Avoid raw papaya, pineapple, or anything undercooked, and please eat whatever your stomach can tolerate right now.
Take care of your health, eat simple satvik food, and try to keep your mind positive and happy. Having a bowl of fresh fruits, milk, and light khichdi with a calm mind is the best start for you and your baby.
My pregnancy app suggested focusing on folic acid-rich foods like green leafy vegetables, beans, and citrus fruits. I also tracked my water intake because staying hydrated helps immensely with first-trimester nausea.
Focus on light, easily digestible foods like khichdi, curd rice, and fresh fruits. Don't worry if you can't eat much due to nausea, just stay hydrated.
Oh sweetie, I totally understand how overwhelming the first trimester can be with all the nausea and food aversions. Just focus on simple, bland things like khichdi, toast, or coconut water. Your body is doing such a beautiful job growing a miracle, so don't force yourself to eat heavy meals if you can't digest them.
I'm still trying to conceive, but my elder sister told me that eating small portions of simple ghar ka khana like paneer, dahi, and fresh fruits in the first trimester is very good. I am taking notes of all this for myself too.
My MIL used to make me eat light roasted makhana and dry toast in the morning to beat the nausea before having proper breakfast. She always insisted on simple, fresh ghar ka khana and completely banned outside oily food for the first three months.
Having recently gone through this, my best advice is to not force yourself to eat heavy veggies if they make you throw up. I practically lived on plain biscuits, lemon water, and light dal chawal for the first three months. Take your folic acid regularly and eat whatever stays down.
