What should take care in first month of pregnancy?
Just found out im pregnant, prob 4-5 weeks. Im so happy but also nervous coz its very early and i dont want to do anything wrong. What all should i be careful about in this starting phase?
Take it slow this month. If you ever see spotting, bad cramps or heavy bleeding, call your doctor immediately dont wait. Otherwise folic acid, rest and a confirmation visit is the main checklist.
Start folic acid if not already, eat clean home food, stay hydrated and avoid heavy lifting. Don't take any random medicine without asking the doctor, even for cold. First month go easy on yourself.
First thing my doctor stressed was starting folic acid, it's important early for the baby. Also cut caffeine down, no smoking or alcohol obviously, and rest well. She told me to book the first appointment to confirm and plan the scans.
Beta in the early days rest is most important. Light home food, no skipping meals, and stay away from too much travelling and stress. For any tablet ask your doctor first, dont take ghar wali medicines blindly.
Get the pregnancy confirmed properly and have that first consult, the doctor will tailor advice to you. General stuff is folic acid, balanced diet, hydration, avoid alcohol and smoking. Don't over-google, it'll scare you.
Honestly first month nausea hit me hard. Eat small frequent meals, keep some biscuits handy for morning queasiness, and ginger water helped a bit. But folic acid is the non-negotiable thing, start that.
