First time pregnant and im just 7 weeks. Everyone at home is giving different different advice about food and im getting overwhelmed honestly. Would love to hear what you all actually ate that helped.
Focus on protein, fibre and good carbs, and eat small frequent meals. With my sugar issues I learnt to balance the plate carefully and avoid too much sweet. Plenty of veggies, dal, eggs and limited fruit portions worked for me.
Keep it simple, dal, roti, sabzi, eggs, milk, fruits and nuts daily. Add iron and calcium rich foods and stay hydrated. Take your prescribed supplements along with this, food alone wont cover everything.
Eat balanced home food, dal, rice, lots of veggies, fruits, milk and curd. My amma always added a little extra ghee and greens for strength. Simple wholesome meals worked for me and my doctor was happy with it.
