What should we eat to increase hemoglobin during pregnancy?
My last report showed my hb is a bit low and the doctor told me to improve my diet. Im 6 months and feeling tired all the time honestly. Pls share what foods actually worked for u to bring it up.
Beta ghar ka simple cheez hi best hai, palak ka saag, chukandar, khajoor aur gud. Loha kadhai me khana banao thoda iron milta hai. Par tablet doctor wali zaroor lo, sirf khaane se kabhi kabhi kam padta hai.
All the iron rich foods are cheap and easy, spinach, dal, peanuts, dates, no need for fancy stuff. Get your Hb tested as the doctor schedules so you know if food is enough or you need extra. Saved me unnecessary spending on supplements I didnt need.

My amma made me drink fresh beetroot and pomegranate, and lots of greens, which really helped my count. I also had dates daily. But always follow the doctor's iron tablet and tests too, food and medicine together worked best for me.
Palak, beetroot, dates, jaggery, rajma and if you eat non veg then chicken liver and eggs help a lot. I added a bit of lemon or amla with iron food because vitamin C helps absorb it better. And dont skip your iron tablet on top.
