My family kept suggesting all sorts of foods but my gynac kept it simple, eat home cooked balanced meals and start folic acid. I added more dals, greens and seasonal fruits. Keep it natural and dont stress na.
I am in the same boat, just started trying. My doctor told me to begin folic acid even before conceiving and eat lots of green veggies, fruits and protein. Cutting down junk and staying hydrated too.
With my PCOS my doctor put me on a low sugar, whole foods diet which helped a lot. I cant say it works for everyone but balanced eating and folic acid is the basic. Please get your levels checked too while trying.
