Im a back sleeper my whole life and now in 2nd trimester everyone keeps telling me to switch sides but no one agrees which one. left or right? i keep waking up confused and uncomfortable. what did your doctors say?
Left side is the recommended one, I slept that way mostly with a pillow between my legs. Dont stress if you switch sides in sleep though, its fine. Just avoid lying flat on your back for long in the later months.
Left side is good na, doctor told me same. A soft pillow under the belly and between knees makes it comfy, ho na. Dont worry if you turn a little in sleep.
My gynac told me the left side is best, especially in later months, as it improves blood flow to the baby. She said right side is okay too if left gets uncomfortable, just avoid flat on the back for long. A pillow between the knees helps a lot.
Left side they say, but my body has its own plans at 3am ha. I just keep a pillow behind my back so even if I roll, I dont end up flat. Whatever lets you actually sleep is a win at this point.
