What symptoms happen in the first month of pregnancy?
I think I might be in my first month of pregnancy, but I'm not sure what to expect. What are the common symptoms that usually occur during the very first month? I want to know if what I'm feeling is normal.
Yaar, don't stress too much about symptoms, some girls don't feel anything at all in the first month! Mostly you'll just feel super exhausted, like you ran a marathon, and maybe some mild breast tenderness. Just relax and take it easy.
Beta, in the first month, you might just feel very tired and a bit moody. When I was at my parents' house, my mother noticed I was sleeping a lot and immediately guessed the good news. Just rest well and eat light, simple meals.
In my first month, I felt some mild cramping and panicked thinking my period was starting! But it was just implantation cramping, which is totally normal. I also had slightly sore breasts and felt extremely sleepy all the time.
Personally, my only symptoms in the first month were missed periods and a very weird metallic taste in my mouth. I didn't even have nausea until the second month. Everyone's body is different, so this was just my personal experience.
Ah, the first month! I remember feeling super bloated, tired, and having sore boobs. Now in my third trimester, I'd take that first-month fatigue any day over this heavy belly! It's usually very mild stuff like fatigue and light cramps.
Honestly, my first-month symptom was crying at a random TV commercial and wanting to sleep for 14 hours! You might also feel some light cramping, which is just your uterus remodeling its interior design for the new guest.
It's mostly just fatigue, mild cramping, and breast tenderness due to the sudden surge in progesterone. I also had some mood swings which I initially mistook for normal PMS. It's very subtle in the first four weeks.
For me, the extreme fatigue and mild nausea started pretty early. I also had to pee every hour even before my test came positive. My practical tip is to keep dry crackers near your bed to nibble on if you feel dizzy in the morning.
