Got my first appointment booked next week and im a total first timer, no clue what to even ask. Dont want to come back home and realise i forgot half the questions. What all did u guys ask?
Ask about safe exercises, what to do in case of severe nausea, and what symptoms like pain or bleeding mean. I also asked my doctor early on about how they support recovery after delivery, which helped me stay prepared later.
Beta, write down all your doubts on a paper, like what to eat, if you can travel, and when to come for the next scan. Ask your doctor nicely and they will explain everything. Don't feel shy to ask anything, even small things.
Ask them which vitamins you need, what foods to avoid, and definitely ask when they expect the delivery date! Also, write down your questions on your phone beforehand, pregnancy brain will make you forget everything the moment you enter the clinic!
Make sure you ask about their emergency contact number, which hospital they are affiliated with for delivery, and their policy on partner entry in the labor room. The hospital staff should also give you a clear booklet of dos and don'ts, so do ask for that.
Definitely ask about your diet, what basic exercises you can do, and what home remedies are safe for mild acidity or nausea. But also ask them clearly what warning symptoms mean you should call them immediately without waiting.
