Found out im pregnant just 2 days back, still in shock honestly. Im around 5 weeks i think. Want to be careful from the start so what all things should i stay away from in these early weeks? food, activities anything. share ur experience pls.
My doctor told me avoid raw papaya, too much caffeine, alcohol, smoking, and any heavy lifting. Also no self medication, even paracetamol she said ask first. And take your folic acid regularly, very important in early weeks.
In our family they always said no papaya and pineapple in starting months. Beyond that just eat fresh home food and rest well beta. But for anything serious always listen to your doctor first.
I used an app that listed foods to avoid, was super helpful, raw fish, unpasteurised stuff, excess caffeine. Plus I noted my folic acid daily so I never forgot.
Early weeks I was extra careful, took rest, avoided lifting and long travel. Please dont take any medicine without asking doctor, and if you ever see spotting or cramps, call your gynac right away.
Avoid raw and uncooked food, too much travel, and stress as much as you can. My family also said no heavy work in first three months. Anything else, trust your doctor over advice.
I kept asking the same in my first trimester. Mainly I avoided junk, raw stuff, and too much chai. Did others also feel scared to even take a paracetamol? I always checked with doc first.
