What to avoid during first trimester of pregnancy?
Just found out im pregnant, roughly 5 weeks. Bohot nervous coz everyone is telling me different things to avoid and im getting confused. Can you all share what you actually stayed away from in the starting months?
Practically speaking, avoid skipping meals even if you have nausea, keep some dry crackers with you. Also, strictly avoid any self-prescribed pills for headaches or morning sickness—always call your gynac first. Keep your workload manageable and don't hesitate to take breaks at office.
The first trimester is so overwhelming and you might feel scared about every single bite you take, I felt the exact same way. Just avoid raw papaya, pineapple, and uncooked eggs or meat. Most importantly, avoid stressing yourself out too much because your baby is safe and you are doing a wonderful job.
Hey there! 🌸 Definitely avoid high-mercury fish, raw sprouts, and too much caffeine. Oh, and stay away from self-medication for even small headaches. Rest as much as you can and enjoy this special phase! 🥰
First thing to avoid is Google, seriously! 🤣 It will tell you even breathing is dangerous. Just stay away from raw seafood, unpasteurized dairy, and heavy lifting, and leave the rest to your doctor.
From what I have read and heard from my family, we should definitely avoid very hot baths and heavy lifting. It's also good to stay away from unpasteurized milk and papaya. I am keeping these points in mind for when my turn comes.
