What to do for brain development of baby during pregnancy?
Im in my 2nd trimester and really want to do whatever i can for the baccha's brain development. Foods, habits, anything. Bohot curious to know what actually helps.
No need to buy expensive supplements or fancy organic things. Just eat basic home-cooked food, include a handful of soaked almonds, walnuts, and green leafy veggies in your daily diet. Keep yourself happy and active with normal household chores.
Haha, with my twins, I tried playing different music for both but it was chaotic! Just eat your almonds and walnuts, and make sure you take your DHA and folic acid tablets regularly. Your baby's brain will grow perfectly fine, don't worry about making them a genius from the womb itself.
I've been reading so much about this online and honestly getting a bit overwhelmed. I started listening to classical music and eating walnuts daily, but is that really enough? What else are you all doing in your second trimester?
Honestly, just sleep while you can because once they are out, their brain develops by keeping you awake all night! Eat healthy foods like ghee, soaked almonds, and milk. Rest is the most important thing for baby's growth.
I used to read to my belly every night thinking it would make my baby smart, and I kept stressing if I missed a day! Please don't put so much pressure on yourself. Just focus on a balanced diet and trust that nature is doing its job beautifully.
Proper thyroid levels are extremely important for the baby's brain development, so please get your TSH checked regularly if you have thyroid issues. Take your thyroid dose first thing in the morning as prescribed. Keep following up with your endocrinologist and gynac.
Please make sure you are regular with your prenatal vitamins, especially folic acid and DHA, as they are crucial for neural tube and brain development. Keep your mind calm and avoid any unnecessary stress. Your peace of mind is very precious for the baby's growth.
