I just entered my 9th month and suddenly everything feels so real, due date is close now. Mummys and elders keep telling me different things, so I wanted to know from others what all should i actually focus on at this stage. pls share what helped u.
In my 9th month I just rested and prepared the baby essentials. I also kept the hospital number handy. Whatever your delivery turns out to be, just stay calm, your body and doctor will handle it.
My amma kept me relaxed with light food and gentle walks at home. I did simple breathing to stay calm too. But for any pain, leaking or reduced movement I knew to call my gynac immediately.
Keep your hospital bag packed, reports in one folder and phone always charged. Walk a bit if doc allows, eat small light meals and rest a lot. Count baby movements daily, if you feel less, call your gynac at once.
This is when I finalised the hospital and confirmed the delivery costs and what insurance covers. Keep some cash ready and inform who all will come. Sorting this early saved us a lot of last minute panic.
