I had a lot of free time in my second trimester, so I actually researched a lot on child development. My doctor specifically told me to read happy books and listen to calming music because baby's hearing develops early. I also started practicing deep breathing and pregnancy safe stretching which helped a lot.
I used to spend my free time checking my pregnancy tracker app daily to see what size fruit my baby is this week, haha! They have great weekly articles and kick counters which kept me super engaged. You can also play the white noise or lullabies from the apps to get used to them.
