Just entered my second trimester and the nausea has finally calmed down thank god. Feeling a bit more energetic now so wondering what all I should focus on in these months. Pls share what worked for u ladies.
The second trimester is usually more comfortable. Focus on a balanced diet, regular but light exercise like walking (after consulting your gynac), and attending all your prenatal appointments. It's also a great time to start thinking about birthing classes and baby essentials.
This is the best time, ya! Nausea is mostly gone, so you can actually enjoy your food again. I had all my cravings satisfied in the second trimester, obviously healthy ones! And trust me, you'll actually feel like eating.
Haha, enjoy it while it lasts! In 2nd tri, you actually have some energy. Go for walks, do some light stretching if your doc says ok. And sleep! Like, really really sleep, because 3rd tri is gonna hit you with all the backaches, trust me.
Enjoy this phase, dear. My mom always said it's the 'golden period' of pregnancy. Rest well, eat nourishing home-cooked food, and spend time with family. It's when you really start feeling the baby move, which is such a beautiful feeling.
Oh, the second trimester is awesome! Your energy comes back, usually. I used my pregnancy app religiously to track my baby's growth and milestones. It was super helpful. Also, start your baby shopping and research like crazy, it's fun!
