Mera weight gain is really slow, im in 2nd trimester and doc said baby needs me to put on more. I dont have much appetite because of nausea earlier. What did u all eat to gain healthy weight, pls share?
You dont need fancy supplements yaar, simple ghar ka khana works. Bananas, eggs, dal, milk and seasonal fruits are cheap and good. I gained well without spending much.
Eat small meals more often instead of three big ones, that helped me. Add nuts, milk, paneer, ghee in normal amounts and good proteins. Dont stuff yourself, steady healthy weight is the goal.
Finally a question I enjoy, lol. I added peanut butter, banana shakes and lots of dry fruits and it was tasty plus filling. Just keep it healthy and not all fried, baby needs good stuff.
My amma added a little ghee in my rice and gave me sesame ladoos for energy. I gained steadily without feeling stuffed. Home food worked beautifully, but I let my doctor track the actual weight na.
I just want to share what I did, I ate balanced and didnt skip meals. But if you are struggling to gain, please ask your gynac because they check baby growth properly. Everyones need is different.
