What to do to stop nausea and vomiting during pregnancy?
Im in my 8th week and the vomiting is just not stopping, cant even keep water down some mornings. So drained the whole day. What helped u all to manage this, pls share anything.
Managing morning sickness can be tough, especially if your hormones are already a bit unbalanced from PCOS. Sucking on small pieces of ginger or drinking lemon water helped me a lot. But if you are unable to keep any liquids down, please inform your gynac.
I just delivered recently, and I remember ginger tea and sucking on lemon slices were my absolute lifesavers for morning sickness. Having a dry toast or biscuit before even getting out of bed in the morning really made a huge difference.
Eating small, frequent meals rather than large ones really helped control my nausea. Since I had to watch my sugars due to GD, I stuck to whole-wheat crackers or roasted chana in the morning, which kept my stomach settled without spikes.
For nausea, try eating dry biscuits before brushing your teeth, and avoid spicy or oily foods. But look, if you are vomiting heavily and can't even digest water, that can lead to dehydration. In that case, you must check with your gynac for safe anti-nausea meds.
