What to do with maternity clothes after pregnancy?
My baby is 3 months now and i have a whole pile of maternity kurtis and pants just lying there. Dont know whether to keep them for next time ya donate. What did u all do with yours?
Maternity clothes are like a temporary uniform, haha! After pregnancy, I'm just looking forward to fitting into my old jeans, maybe. You can totally keep them for the next pregnancy, or pass them on to friends or family who are expecting. Sharing is caring, na?
I'm still pregnant and already thinking about this! I invested in some good quality pieces, so I definitely want to make sure they get used again. I'm thinking of storing them carefully for a future pregnancy, or maybe lending to my sister if she needs them.
Right now, my maternity clothes are still my everyday clothes because who has time to shop?! But eventually, I'll probably pack them away. If a friend gets pregnant, I'll pass them on. Otherwise, they'll just chill in the back of my closet waiting for their next big moment, or maybe for the dry cleaner, haha.
Once the baby comes, those comfy clothes are not needed so much. You can keep some if you plan for another child later. Otherwise, if your sister or bhabhi is pregnant, you can give them. It's nice to share, saves money for others too.
Oh, this is something I've been wondering about too! I'm only in my second trimester and already have a good collection. Do they really get used again if you plan another baby? Or do people just sell them off or give them away? What did others feel about this?
So many options! You can definitely store them for your next pregnancy 🤰, or lend them to friends and family. A lot of mums also sell them online or donate them to charities! Giving them a new home is always a good idea! 😊
Honestly, I'm still wearing some of my maternity tops and leggings because they're just so comfy postpartum! But for the ones I don't need, I'm planning to give them to my cousin who's expecting next year. It's nice to pass on useful things.
