Just entered my 9th month and the appetite is so up and down these days. Want to eat things that keep me strong for delivery and good for baby also. What did you all focus on eating in the last month?
In my 9th month I kept meals smaller but frequent coz there was less space and more acidity. Lots of fruits, dal, curd, soft khichdi, and plenty of water. Heavy meals made me uncomfortable so light and often worked best.
Honestly in the 9th month I kept it simple and practical. Curd rice, fruit, boiled eggs, nuts in a box, easy to grab when tired. Keep hydrating and dont skip meals even if you feel full quickly.
Just one gentle note, if you have any sugar issue keep an eye on portions and sweet stuff even now. Otherwise balanced iron and protein rich food is great. I kept dates limited due to my levels, but ask your doctor for your case.
My gynac focused on protein, iron and calcium in the final month, plus fibre to avoid constipation. Dal, eggs, curd, fruits, nuts, leafy veg. She said small frequent meals are easier on the tummy now. Keep up the prescribed supplements too.
My family fed me a lot of iron rich food and dates in the last month, they said it helps for delivery. I also had ragi and plenty of greens. Doctor just said keep it balanced and stay hydrated.
