What to eat during first three months of pregnancy?
Im in my first trimester and honestly half the time i cant even keep food down because of nausea. Still want to make sure baccha gets proper nutrition. What did u girls manage to eat in the first 3 months?
Stick to simple, home-cooked food like dals, khichdi, and fresh fruits in these early months. Also, please ensure you get your thyroid levels checked regularly, as it is very crucial in the first trimester. Your doctor will advise the best diet based on your reports.
My mother-in-law advised me to have simple curd rice, idlis, and coconut water to soothe the stomach in the first trimester. They are very light on the tummy and easy to digest. However, do check with your doctor for your routine vitamins and supplements.
Haan na, starting mein khane ka mann hi nahi karta because of nausea. Try having simple lime water, dry biscuits, and light khichdi. But if you have severe vomiting and can't keep anything down, then please check with your doctor once.
I remember how hard the first three months were with all the nausea and low energy. Please don't force yourself to eat heavy meals, just eat whatever you can tolerate, even if it is just dry toast or apples. You are doing an amazing job, so don't feel guilty at all!
Focus on protein-rich foods like paneer, boiled eggs, and sprouts while keeping simple carbs low. Since I had gestational diabetes, I had to be very careful with fruit juices and white rice even in early pregnancy. Do check with your doctor or dietician for a personalized meal plan.
