What to eat during pregnancy for baby's brain development?
I am in my first trimester and want to make sure I am eating all the right things for my baby. Can you please suggest some foods that are good for brain development? I want my baby to be healthy and intelligent.
You don't need expensive exotic berries or seeds for this. Regular soaked chana, seasonal fruits, spinach, and milk are cheap and best for baby's brain growth. Just keep it simple and eat freshly cooked ghar ka khana.
Regular local seasonal fruits and lentils are very budget-friendly and provide all the necessary nutrients like folic acid. Spend wisely on normal healthy groceries rather than expensive imported superfoods.
I used to stress so much about whether I was eating enough DHA and folic acid for my baby's brain! Honestly, just take your prenatal vitamins regularly and add some ghee and dry fruits to your daily diet, it works wonders.
Eat fresh satvik food, drink pure milk, and always have your meals with a peaceful mind. Along with good food, reading positive books or listening to nice spiritual chants has a wonderful impact on the baby's mind.
Make sure you eat a handful of soaked almonds and walnuts daily, dear, they are great for baby's brain. Also, focus on green leafy vegetables and fresh fruits. Keep your mind calm and happy too, it really affects the baby's development.
Don't force yourself to eat heavy dry fruits if you have bad morning sickness and throw up. Try simple things like milk, curd, or light dal-rice which are easy on the stomach but still give good nutrition.
